Celebrations Never End @ OurDesignz

On the occasion of Christmas

OurDesignz team always seek the reason of celebration, and this time the reason was BIG; THE CHRISTMAS. It all started from the morning with a delicious breakfast. Soon after the breakfast Santa entered in the lab and distributed the chocolates to the employees.

They were happy to see the Santa. He gifted them chocolates and clicked pictures with them. Then we started with lunch and activities. The prizes were Ipad Mini, Nokia Lumia and Microwave Oven so everyone was waiting for the activities curiously. There were several interesting activities like Open Five different Locks by applying different Keys. Collect the Maximum Smiley Balls within two minutes with eyes blind folded and many more. In the qualifier round, participants had to collect smiley balls with closed eyes. Raveena gave a tough competition to Pradeep, Arun and Amrinder, and won the first activity. She got an Ipad Mini for her performance.

In the second activity, Arjun Singh arranged the spelling of OurDesignz out of 112 Alphabet slips with is 96 seconds. He was the fastest as compared to the other 25 competitors. He won a Nokia Lumia for that outstanding performance.

Last activity was little long, but interesting as competitors had to pass the thread through 26 needles within two minutes. This competition was won by Vikrant Manhas as he completed the game in 1.58 minutes and no one else was able do so in that short timeframe. That’s how we got our three winners of Christmas Event; Raveena Sharma, Arjun Singh and Vikrant Manhas. The party went on till late night.

D J Party on the Eve of New Year:

Just few days after Christmas, we organised a DJ Party . The party started with delicious snacks. It was an amazing view when all the employees were dancing together and enjoying the evening. With the hope of a prosperous future, they all were wishing a Happy New Year to each other

Cricket Match on 9th of Jan:

It was time for some physical activity. Employees were waiting for this match with great curiosity from many weeks. They were divided in two teams. One was led by Amit Verma and another by Inderpal Singh. No words can explain the memories of that day. Amit won the match with strength of his team, whereas Lakhvir bagged the Man Of the Match. At the end of the game, there was a question in everyone’s mind “When will be the next Cricket Match at OurDesignz”.Here are some memories:

Lohri Celebration:

Lohri is the Traditional as well as Most Celebrated festival of Panjabi’s, so how can our employees leave it. They enjoyed the cold evening with holy Fire, Peanuts, popcorns and other edibles

Skype Quiz:

This was the third time when we played Skype Quiz in the office on 25th of January. Participants were excited to play the game. There were multi types of questions including riddles, General knowledge, and updated web technologies and so on. In that 45 minutes of game every person was competing to ping the answer more rapidly and correctly as compare to other. The game became more interesting in the end when Nishima Mahajan and Ramandeep Singh were on equal score, and the last question was to be asked to get the winner. The game was based on the participants’ typing speed and accuracy of the answer, which were good of Nishima and she answered the last question quickly. In this way she won the game

Most Awaited Upcoming Event:

Now we are waiting for the Next Cricket Match; which will be played between the teams of two brothers VIKRANT AND VIKRAM ……to be continued…..
